Top 10 Best Basketball Players Of All Time

1. Michael Jordan

Six Championships. Thats all you need to say when talking about who is the best player of all time. Jordan is a winner he can will spin in the air 3 times to make a winning shot. Jordan and Kobe use basketball as an art form where as Lebron physically overpowers people that doesn't make him better just more physical.

Lebron has good stats but the only stat that matters is who wins the most. Jordan has 6 rings a gold medal and a national championship. suck on that Lebron.

Best player the world has seen and will see. Just looking at him inspires you to become a basketball player. No matter what anyone says, Jordan is the best basket-baller.

The best player ever! Everybody will know the one who is going to surpass him. (if that day will ever come)

 2. Kobe Bryant
Kobe = 81 points, most by a wing player in NBA history.

Look here people this brother is the best baller after jordan. What he has managed to achieve is crazy! and he still is playing the game! I respect Lebron but when it comes to the game am sure even he wants to be like Kobe. Think about the lakers without him, its like the Bulls then without mike. YOU ROCK HOMES!

HAD KOBE PLAYED THE FOURTH QUARTER AGAINST DALLAS WHEN HE HAD 62 POINTS AT THAT TIME I'M SURE HE WOULD OF HAD ANOTHER 80 POINT GAME.
HEART OF STONE. ITS FITTING HE IS RANKED 2ND.

3. LeBron James
It's obviously gonna be Michael Jordan, but LeBron will be the 2nd best to play. Some reasons why? over 10,000 career points already.. in 5 seasons. He's the Cavaliers all time leading scorer already. And technically, he should just now be coming off his rookie season. Guys think, really now. If he's not even in his prime yet and people are already comparing him to Jordan, whats that go to show you? at this pace, he could very easily score 35,000 points in his career, depending on how long he plays and how good he stays for those seasons. He's been selected to four all-star games, carried the Cavs to the playoffs 4 times out of his 5 seasons, and the year they didn't make it, the teams till improved by 18 wins. He even managed to carry the Cavs to a NBA Finals and '06-'07 against the Spurs, who swept the Cavs in 4, but still, its a trip to the finals. And just recently, they took the world champion Celtics to 7 games, even with their lockdown defence. Thats more games than the Lakers lasted, and oh wait.. Whose on the Lakers? Oh yes, Kobe Bryant.. Kobe can't hold his own when he's faced with a challenging defence, as this years finals proved. While Kobe was forced to rely on his teammates, LeBron played his game, and almost pulled off a 2nd consecutive year to the finals. So people, AT LEAST get LeBron to 2nd on this list, and show some support with your votes =P

 4. Larry Bird
He was the best ever: the greatest, most creative passer ever; one of the greatest defensive rebounders, the greatest all around shooter, the greatest clutch shooter, and played great team defense. Add to all these qualities his great basketball intelligence, mental toughness, and pure skill, and you have, by far, the greatest player of all times!

Larry was a great shooter with few dunks unlike Jordan who had many dunks to increase his shooting percentage. Larry was also a better rebounder, free throw shooter, and passer than Jordan. Larry entered the NBA one year late, after sitting out a year in college, and missed almost another full year in his prime with a foot injury. He was not a selfish shooter but just wanted to win and would get all of his teammate involved. He averaged over 10 rebounds per game for his career - not bad for someone who couldn't jump! He was both the first AND second player ever to shoot over 50% from the field AND over 90% from the line for a season - and this from a long range shooter! He was the best ever with a ful command of the game and awareness of what was happening - always.

Scored when ever he wanted to. Anywhere he was he was great.

 5. Wilt Chamberlain
He averaged 50 points in a single season
Scored 100 points in a single game

Got 55 rebounds against the Celtics led by Bill Russell (2nd all time career rebounder behind chamberlain)
Had a 33 game winning streak
Of the 62 times more than 60 points have been scored by a single person in a game, 32 of those times were by Chamberlain

Blocked shots were recorded after he retired, but Harvey Pollack asked his statisticians to count Chamberlain's blocks, and they got up to 25 one night. Well above the record for most blocks in a single game.

Elgin Baylor said that Chamberlain was the only player that could dominate on both end of the court. He recalled one particular game against the bulls where he blocked every single shot for 4-5 minutes and how no one from the bulls could get a shot in.

In a sport where one game is 48 minutes for a season he averaged 48.5 minutes a game, thanks to overtime.
Bill Russell, the man who won more rings than he has fingers, said that Wilt Chamberlain was the best player he ever played against and that it wasn't even close.

He scored a lot but he was also an accurate shooter. Through more than 70 years of the national basketball association Wilt Chamberlain still holds the record for the highest season field goal percentage at 0.727.

This man was unstoppable

Simply the most dominating player of his era. Rules were changed because of his dominance. Whether he could dominate in todays game is in question, he simply may not be fast enough. Then again Mike Jordan wouldn't dominate if he played 25 yrs ago simply because back then they actually "called" traveling, palming, and offensive fouls. Not that is his fault but, he played so fast that refs simply couldn't see him take that 3 and sometimes fourth step, the hop/step, the "up and down" plays he so frequently committed. Then again, thats todays game in general. Back when Wilt played, the competion level was so much higher because of the fact that there weren't so many teams thus so many players. One last thing. I don't think LeBron should be on this list just yet (he may be one of the most talented players but that does not equate into "best" of all time) He needs to play for several more years and continue putting up numbers. Then he can be considered on of the best.

 6. Allen Iverson
As long as we aren't talkin practice, Allen Iverson is good.

The dude's only 6'1" if he stands on the New York telephone book: he IS the GREATEST scorer of all time; arguably the greatest all around player, as well.

Six more inches and A.I. would have flew past Jordan... Key Statement: he did it amidst great opposition.

 7. Magic Johnson
No body came close to this dude when came to court vision except for maybe Stockton. Could have taken any team to the finals by himself, best passing/scoring guard in history.

What too many people he passed that scored. I wish to be him when I grow up. wher the love at. be respectful I watch to many of his games for him to be treated lik this get Allen out of her
 8. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
No one could guard the sky hook. Most points scored in a career - not even close

Most points scored in the history of the NBA- He has so many blocks as well as some great assists. That is why He deserves number 1

Humble giant, master of all time, takes after his original coach, unforgetable speaker... Spoke about how he learned to be a good man ^^ about life through his coach. Kareem should be number 1 player.

 9. Bill Russell
Played 13 seasons. WON 11 CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Micheal Jordan was to scoring like Bill Russell was to defense. You won't see this guy on any all-time scoring lists, but on every top ten list in NBA history. (Not to mention 5 MVPs and 11 rings, yikes!)

Top 3 player for sure. Best defensive player of all time.

 10. Pistol Pete Maravich
Pistol pete was probably the best ball handler ever to play the game and one of the best shots

Nobody can realistically challenge his creativity, well-honed talent and flair which was WAY ahead of it's time. If he were playing in today's game, he'd still accomplish the things that he did in his day. Perhaps the most overlooked aspect of Pete was his athleticism. Great combination of speed, jumping ability, height and quickness.

Averaged 44 points per game three years in a row at LSU!

He gave his life to the game! Way ahead of his time.

Top 10 Perfumes for Women

Women's perfumes

Women's perfumes
Are there any differences between women’s perfumes and colognes? Here is a brief introduction on what exactly cologne is and how it differs from other types of perfumes. Contrary to popular belief, it is not simply perfume for men—it is actually a type of perfume formulated and created in Cologne. Cologne is a city in Germany that was made famous for its popular, spicy scents specific to the region. Today, however, not all colognes originate from Cologne, Germany. The major difference between regular perfumes and cologne perfume is the amount of oil contained in the fragrance. This is important because the higher the concentration of oil, the longer the fragrance will last. With the economy the way it is, you can save money knowing that you won't need to apply as much.
  • One of the bestselling types of perfume in the world is cologne. This fragrance is offered in many different styles and variations for both women and men.
  • D & G Light Blue is perfect for casual use with its refreshing Sicilian scents. Light Blue Gabbana mens fragrance combines the fruity notes of mandarin, bergamot and grapefruit peel with light scents of juniper, pepper and rosewood. However, don't think that makes this a non-manly scent, because it's rounded off with notes of musk wood, incense and oak moss.
  • Butterfly Flower perfume is the new spring cologne fragrance for 2009.
  • Davidoff Cool Water, on the other hand, is known for its blend of ocean air, woody notes, citrus and pineapple — a scent reminiscent of the Mediterranean.
  • Top seller L'Air Du Temps perfume is recommended for the evening due to it's romantic aroma.

  • When shopping online, look for online retailers that have a liberal return policy. This will facilitate getting your money back if you don’t like the scent.
  • Purchase perfumes online when retailers are offering perfumes gift sets as buying in bulk is often cheaper than if bought separately. Consult the reviews from customers for a better idea of their products.

Top 10 Best Korean Movies

The popularity of South Korean movies is hardly surprising, given that they are both plot and character driven, and offer a refreshing change from the formulaic scripts of western movies. South Korean cinema caters to every taste – romance, suspense, comedy, fantasy – or all of them at once. If you have never watched South Korean cinema, here are ten movies you must see to give you an idea of the rich cinematic experience that awaits. But, perhaps best of all, these are the perfect films to buy for Christmas for film-buff friends who may be unfamiliar with non-US and non-European films.

10
Memories of Murder

Starring one of South Korea’s most popular actors, Song Kang-Ho (from The Good, The Bad, The Weird and The Host), and Kim Sang-Kyeong, this movie is an all-time hit with fans of Korean cinema. Directed in 2003 by Bong Joon-Ho, Memories of Murder is based on the true story of the investigation into South Korea’s first serial killings, in the 1980s. The impact of the grisly murders on a police force not trained or equipped to deal with them, and the efforts of unsophisticated country cops to track down the murderer, make for an engrossing movie. Song plays Detective Park Doo-Man, a simple soul, who is overwhelmed by the case, and is assisted by city cop Seo Tae-Yoon (Kim Sang-Kyeong). The two do not form an easy partnership, as Seo tries to impress upon Park the need for proper investigation methods. The setting, a small town outside Seoul, is beautifully realised and takes you right into the story.

9
Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter…and Spring

This haunting movie will linger long in the memory after the closing credits. The setting is exquisitely beautiful, a temple floating on a lake surrounded by hills and trees. It is home to an old monk and the young boy he is training. This is spring, in the boy’s innocent youth. In summer, when the boy is in his teens, he gets his first taste of desire when he meets a young girl and her mother, who is seeking help for the girl’s illness. When the old monk sends the girl away, the boy also leaves, and the seasons turn to autumn and winter, as the world outside intrudes. This lyrical poem of a movie was directed by Kim Ki-Duk.

8
A Moment to Remember

No one can do romance like the Koreans. If you want to be swept up in a love story that leaves you breathless, don’t watch Love Story again, watch this. Starring current South Korean box office magnet Woo-Sung Jung as Cheol-Su, and the lovely Ye-Jin Son as Su-Jin, the movie is about two people whose love survives even the tragedy of Su-Jin developing Alzheimer’s disease at a young age. Together they are building beautiful memories as they meet, and marry, but all those memories are soon to be lost to Su-Jin’s rare illness. Woo-Sung gives a mesmerising performance as the man who goes from a loner with a chip on his shoulder to a loving husband who has to face the fact that his wife doesn’t recognise him any more. Have the tissues ready, because director John H. Lee and his hand picked cast sure know how to get those tears flowing.

7
My Sassy Girl

Run, don’t walk, away from the American remake of 2008 and watch the 2001 South Korean original instead. It is based on the real-life blog of Kim Ho-Sik, writing about his relationship with an unnamed girl. She’s a terror, abusing him, testing him, embarrassing him in public, and generally making his life hell. Why does he put up with it? Because she is suffering and he believes he can help her. On one level, this is one of the funniest movies ever made – Char tae-Hyun plays the hapless hero, rescuer and victim, while Jun Ji-Hyun (now known as Gianna Jun from Blood: The Last Vampire) plays the girl. From their first meeting, when the drunk girl vomits on the bald head of an elderly train passenger, to the meeting with another old man that awakens her to the realisation that she knew real love, this movie couple will steal your heart.

6
A Tale of Two Sisters

South Korean cinema is not all about murder mysteries and love stories. When it comes to psychological horror, this 2003 movie is guaranteed to creep out even the most hardened fan. Two sisters, Soo-Mi and Soo-Yeon, return to their home after a stay in hospital. What follows, when the elder sister believes her step-mother is abusing the younger sister, mounts in spine chilling horror and tension until the shocking truth is revealed. Director Kim Ji-Woon extracted consummate performances from his young stars, Lim Su-Jeong and Moon Gyung-Young, using a well known folk tale as the basis for this movie. A remake called The Uninvited in 2009 simply failed to catch the atmospheric essence of the original.

The Good, the Bad, the Weird

Manchuria in the 1940s – full of desperate characters and wild rumors of secret treasures – makes a great substitute for the wild west, in this South Korean re-imagining of Sergio Leone’s classic The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (but then so did Spain in the original movie). Into this eye scorching landscape come three men in pursuit of a map that leads to a buried treasure. The men are bounty hunter Park do-Won (the Good) played by Woo-Sung Jung from A Moment to Remember; bandit Park Chang-Yi (The Bad) played by Lee Byun-Hun; and thief Yoon Tae-Goo (The Weird) played by Song Kang-Ho from Memories of Murder. The action is unrelenting as they pursue each other, and are pursued by Japanese soldiers, other thieves and bandits, and anyone who happens to like a good chase. The stunts are intense – Lee broke his leg, and Jung his arm, falling off horses. Director Kin Je-Woon calls his movie a ‘kimchi western’. Everyone else calls it one hell of a ride.

Brotherhood of War

Western movie goers rarely get to see the Korean War from the Korean side, although M*A*S*H gave us brief glimpses during its long run on TV. This South Korean epic follows the lives of two brothers roughly conscripted into the conflict. The older brother, Lee Jin-Tae, tries to secure the freedom of the younger brother, Lee-Jeon, by performing brave acts, but all he does is incur the boy’s anger and jealousy. This intensely moving drama doesn’t care which side is right or wrong, it shows the horrible consequences of war on families and ordinary people. It is harrowing to watch, but director Kang Je-Gyu gets his message across – war is hell, for all of us.

 The Chaser

Joong-Ho used to be on the right side of the law as a detective. Now he is a pimp, facing financial ruin because his girls are disappearing mysteriously, and he isn’t making any money. The police don’t seem to care, so Joong-Ho calls on his own former skills to find out what has happened to the girls. What he finds is horrifying in the extreme, and it takes a strong stomach to sit through all of it, but those who have to – namely, critics – have acclaimed the movie. It is a stunning movie, taking the audience in unexpected directions as Joong-Ho desperately tries to track down one of the girls, called Mi-Jin, before the worst happens. Directed by Ha Hong-Jin, The Chaser doesn’t let up until you fall off the edge of your chair.

2
Old Boy

Imagine being imprisoned for 15 years – no, not in a real prison, but in a hotel room, held there by someone you don’t know, and for something you can’t remember. This is the situation Oh Dae-Su finds himself in, going slowly mad for a decade and a half until he is suddenly and inexplicably released. Director Park Chan-Wook based this movie on a Japanese manga, but took it totally in a new direction. The movie succeeds in being thrilling, entertaining and unexpected, and most of that is due to the intensity with which actor Choi Min-Sik tackles the role of Dae-su. The twists and turns are seemingly endless – and often shocking – yet Choi holds it all together. You just can’t take your eyes off him.

Musa

In 2001, when Seong-Soo Kim directed this epic, it was the most expensive South Korean movie ever made. Starring Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon star Zhang Ziyi, and the then largely unknown Woo-Sung Jung, it tells of the kidnapping of a Ming Princess and how she grows through her experiences from a spoilt royal into a commanding woman. Of course, being Zhang Ziyi, she also plays well the image of a beautiful and unattainable woman that men would die for. The men in this case are a freed slave (Jung) who is handy with a fighting staff, and General Choi-Jung (Ju Jin-Mo) who is just as handy with a sword. The fighting and battle scenes give no quarter – Jung sustained another injury filming this one.
Perhaps this is one of the reasons for the success of South Korean movies. It’s like the wild frontier of film making, and South Korean actors throw everything they’ve got into a performance – and laugh about the broken bones.
As Woo-Sung Jung joked when he broke his arm filming The Good, the Bad, the Weird – “I was glad it wasn’t my right arm – then I wouldn’t have been able to hold the rifle.”

Top 10 Best Songs of 2011

The Top 10 Songs of 2011 So Far include an overwhelming number of high-octane dance songs. Kesha, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears were among those who provided club-ready hits during the first half of the year, while Pink was one of the few acts to earn a big hit with a power ballad. But it is Adele who takes the top spot with her hit 'Rolling in the Deep,' which has smashed radio charts across several genres during the first six months of 2011. Here is our list of the Top 10 Songs of 2011 So Far.

10
'Just Can't Get Enough'
The second single from the Black Eyed Peas' 2010 album, 'The Beginning,' features a mellow, mid-tempo vibe that highlights the interplay between will.i.am and Fergie's voices. The song peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's Pop Songs chart, and broke the top five in multiple countries. Its video was shot in Japan just before the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, prompting the group to add a message of sympathy to the beginning of the clip.

09
'Blow'
When it comes to songwriting, Kesha has clearly identified her niche -- club bangers about partying. On 'Blow,' she sticks to the musical formula that worked on 'Tik Tok' and 'We R Who We R.' "This place about to blow," she warns on the second single from 'Cannibal,' an electropop track she co-wrote with Max Martin and Dr. Luke.

08
'Born This Way'
'Born This Way' was one of the most anticipated singles in a long time, and within five days of its release, Gaga had performed it live at the Grammys and watched it soar to the top of the charts, becoming the 1000th No. 1 song in Billboard history. Gaga acknowledged that when she wrote the self-affirming dance track, she imagined Whitney Houston singing it.

07
'Till the World Ends'
The pop princess teased anticipating fans with her second single, 'Till the World Ends,' which dropped three weeks before her seventh studio album, 'Femme Fatale,' was released. The sexy track features anthemic chanting, and professes a desire to stay in the club forever, making it a perfect candidate for the ultimate club-going soundtrack.

06
'On the Floor' Feat. Pitbull
J. Lo has owned 2011, not only by becoming a judge on 'American Idol' and launching her own competition series, but also by releasing her slam-dunk single, 'On the Floor.' The Pitbull-assisted lead track from her seventh studio album topped the charts in dozens of countries, reminding audiences that the New York City native is a mega-multi-talented force.
Jennifer Lopez On the Floor

05
'S&M'
"Feels so good being bad," Rihanna teases, setting the stage for a raunchy electro track from her 'Loud' album. Though the subject matter involves being naughty in the bedroom, Rihanna claims the lyrics are metaphorical. Produced by Stargate and Sandy Vee, the track features an edgy music video that created nearly as much buzz as the song itself.

04
'Perfect'
On the heels of the party anthem 'Raise Your Glass,' Pink unleashed 'Perfect' as the second single from her 'Greatest Hits... So Far!!!' collection. Pink wrote the ballad about ignoring your faults and being proud of yourself, with inspirational lines like, "Pretty pretty please, if you ever ever feel that you're nothing, you are perfect to me."

03
'Grenade'
Even though Bruno Mars would "catch a grenade" and "take a bullet straight through my brain" for his love interest, she doesn't feel the same way. The emotional heartbreak story helped Mars continue the momentum of his fantastic debut year by hitting No. 1 on the charts and taking a top spot on our list.

02
'E.T.' Feat. Kanye West
The out-of-this-world fourth single from Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' album got an extra boost from the addition of Kanye West, who appeared on the radio version of the song. The tune peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and helped the pop star continue her chart-topping reign. Its electronic track has spawned several remixes, including one by famed DJ Tiesto.

The soulful break-up song became an international hit for the British singer, and was certified platinum in seven countries. Naturally, the tune was tapped for a slew of film and TV placements for its universal themes.

Top 10 Best-Selling Cars of 2011

New car sales in October recovered from a summertime lull, fueled by pent-up demand for new models and a better selection of Japanese brand cars following last spring’s devastating earthquake. If the rebound continues, car makers will finish the year with their best sales since 2008.

Unlike in previous years, however, when import-brand vehicles dominated the list of best-selling cars in America, this year has seen a surge in popularity for domestic models. Six of the 10 most popular vehicles in America through October are made by General Motors, Ford Motor or Chrysler Group, compared to just three last year. Tumbling out of the Top 10 are the Honda Civic and CR-V, two perennial favorites whose sales have been hurt by natural disasters in Asia, and the Hyundai Sonata, which was nudged out by more popular vehicles from Ford and GM. Pushing their way into the Top 10 are the Ford Fusion and Escape, and GM’s new compact, the Chevrolet Cruze.

There’s no doubt the Detroit car companies benefited from the woes of their Japanese rivals. Toyota has been reeling for nearly two years — first because of quality recalls and then because of parts shortages caused by the earthquake and Tsunami in Japan last March. While Toyota was struggling, Honda seemed adrift, offering uninspiring vehicles that failed to capitalize on the market opportunity. Then, it too was forced to suspend North American production because of supply chain issues following the earthquake. The disaster struck just as Honda was launching a redesigned Civic. Now it’s getting ready to launch a new CR-V, but that could be delayed because of parts shortages caused by monsoons in Thailand.

Stepping into the void, of course, were GM, Ford and Chrysler, with fuel-efficient vehicles that had improved quality and more appealing styling and features. GM’s Chevy Cruze is a good example. It hit the market in late 2010 with a starting price of $16,525 and has turned into a barn-burner for GM, selling more than 202,000 so far this year. It features 10 air bags, stability control and traction control, and gets 38 mpg on the highway with its optional 1.4-liter turbo-charged Ecotec engine. Sales of the Toyota Corolla, meanwhile, are down 11 percent so far this year. Toyota’s compact still outsells Cruze, but only by about 1,000 vehicles, and the Cruze could overtake Corolla by the end of the year to become the country’s best-selling compact car.

Likewise, the Ford Fusion mid-sized sedan and even the Escape utility vehicle, which is due for a makeover next year, have found a larger audience during the market turmoil.

The seasonally adjusted sales rate for October was 13.3 million vehicles, according to Autodata of Woodcliff Lake, N.J., with strong double-digit gains posted by Chrysler, Volkswagen, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Ford Motor and General Motors saw more modest gains (6 percent and 2 percent, respectively). Toyota Motor’s sales fell 8 percent, while Honda’s dipped 0.5 percent.

Ford’s F-series pickups (No.1), and GM’s Chevrolet Silverado (No.2) are America’s sales champs, as they have been for years. The best-selling passenger car remains the Toyota Camry, although sales of this aging model are off 8.5% so far this year because of earthquake-related disruptions. A redesigned 2012 Camry just went on sale, which could help Toyota get back on track.

10. Ram pickup
Spun off from Dodge, Ram pickups stand on their own now.

9. Chevrolet Cruze
Chevy's new small car has strong sales momentum.

8. Toyota Corolla
Corolla is down 11% this year amid tougher small car competition and dealer shortages.

7. Honda Accord
The only Honda model still in the top 10 due to inventory shortages.

6. Ford Fusion
Ford's mid-size sedans have led a product revolution at Ford.

5. Ford Escape
Escape sales stayed strong, even with a redesign on the way for 2012.

4. Nissan Altima
Nissan's mid-sized sedan shot up the list as other Japanese makers struggled.

3. Toyota Camry
Camry is still the nation's best-selling car, and a redesign is coming for 2012.

2. Chevrolet Silverado pickup
Chevy pickups are overdue for an update, but still selling well.

1. Ford F-150 pickup
Ford's workhorse pickups are the perennial best seller.
